For me, learning is a continuous process, and I approach each new challenge as an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
About Me
I graduated in Summer 2025 with a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Basel. During my three years of study, I learned a lot about computer science and came to appreciate how broad and constantly evolving the field is. What has stayed with me most is the realization that there is always more to learn. The opportunity to acquire new skills and expand my knowledge is what excites me the most. My goal is to continuously learn, grow, and apply my expertise to meaningful challenges.
Outside of my work in computer science, I enjoy hiking and camping in nature. I find that spending time outdoors provides a refreshing balance to my technical work, helping me recharge and approach challenges with a clear and focused mind.
Projects
Online Multiplayer Game
A real-time online multiplayer game developed in Java that demonstrates client-server communication, concurrency handling, and socket programming. Players can interact simultaneously in a shared environment.
Secure Online Voting System
A cryptographically secured voting platform designed to ensure confidentiality, verifiability, and data protection. Implemented using Python and React with techniques such as Shamir’s Secret Sharing and homomorphic encryption.
Operating System for Raspberry Pi 4
A lightweight operating system built from scratch for the Raspberry Pi 4. Implemented fundamental OS components including scheduling and memory management in C and Assembly.
Automated Card-Dispenser Robot
An autonomous robot capable of distributing cards automatically. Focused on hardware-level programming, sensor integration, and robotic control.
JabRef
Contributed to JabRef, a widely used open-source bibliography reference manager. Implemented a new feature and wrote specification documents. Part of the Software Engineering course of the University of Basel.
Biodiversity Analysis
A data analysis project that explored the relationship between biodiversity and weather conditions in Germany. Data was processed, stored, and visualized using SQL databases and Python.
Privacy-Friendly AI Toy
Bachelor thesis project on building an AI-powered toy that prioritizes user privacy by relying on local data processing and minimizing external data sharing. Developed as part of the Privacy-Enhancing Technologies Group at the University of Basel.
